Our IT guy just says ‘click through the scripts’….. I have had a similar problem and I don’t think reinstalling or downloading windows updates is the issue. It can be solved by first running the application as Administrator (that is right click “Run as Administrator”) and you will see the problem goes away so it is a rights issue. Also for some reason when I am using the text tool and I try to select a font I only get a list of the first fonts that will fit on the screen.
